We kicked off February with a trip to the National Farm Machinery Show, and what an incredible experience it was! Bob and Chris had a great time connecting with dealers, YouTubers, and tractor owners who are putting beet juice tire ballast to work every day.
This year marked a major milestone for the show. The Kentucky Exposition Center hosted the show’s 60th anniversary celebration. Held annually in Louisville, the event is the largest indoor farm show in the country, giving attendees the opportunity to explore the latest equipment innovations and attend educational seminars. More than 300,000 people made their way through over 900 exhibitor booths. The turnout certainly showcased the strength and passion of the agricultural community.
One of the most exciting additions to the Rim Guard booth this year was our custom-built pinball machine. A huge thank-you goes out to Gameroom Pinball and Brian for crafting this incredible, one-of-a-kind piece of art. If you didn’t get the chance to play Beet the Odds at the 2026 show, don’t worry! We’ll have it ready for action again next year.
Some of our favorite Youtubers visited us, too! Stoney Ridge is a Youtube channel you should check out if you haven’t already. Josh has an 150 acre farm nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. His videos showcase practical things that need to get done around a small farm. Check out this video of Josh getting his tires filled with beet juice tire ballast.
We also welcomed Tim from Tractor Time with Tim to our booth – how lucky are we! Tractor Time with Tim focuses on all things compact tractors on his youtube channel. He desires for all that watch his videos to be entertained and realize that “you too can do it (and enjoy it).” Watch this video where Tim gets multiple tractors filled with beet juice tire ballast.
The 2026 National Farm Machinery Show was one for the books. We’re grateful for everyone who stopped by, shared their stories, or simply came to play a round on our pinball machine. Events like this remind us why we do what we do.
We’re already excited for next year, and we hope to see you there. Same place, new connections, and plenty more beet juice ballast to go around!
